seaborne trade × (1 + current risk). It answers "where would trouble hurt most right now".

Method, honestly. Chokepoint score = severity- and confidence-weighted pressure of
security-relevant events (conflict / transport / border / unrest — an inland wildfire does not
close a strait) in adjacent countries, plus the countries' composite risk index. Route status =
worst link. This is a demonstration layer over Vigilo's country-level feed — vessel-level AIS
integration is the next step, and this page is not a navigation product.
